My Clothes
My Clothes
Hello! My name is Tom. I want to tell you about my clothes. I have different clothes for different seasons.
For work, I usually wear a white shirt and black trousers. I also have a nice blue jacket. It is new — I bought it last week. It fits me very well and feels light and comfortable.
At the weekend, I like to wear something casual. In summer, I always put on a T-shirt and shorts. My favourite T-shirt is white with a red logo. My shorts are old but very comfortable. When it's sunny, I wear my favourite cap.
In winter, I wear warm clothes. I have a thick woollen jumper — it's very cosy. Over my jumper, I put on a long black coat. My coat is warm and long. I also have a comfortable hoodie with a big hood.
My sister Emma loves clothes too. She has a beautiful blue dress for parties. It's new and she looks great in it. For school, she often wears a skirt with a blouse. Sometimes she wears jeans and a hoodie — that's her favourite casual outfit. She has a pair of tight jeans that she really likes, but she also has a loose pair for relaxing at home.
Last weekend, we went shopping together. I wanted to buy a new jumper. I tried on three different ones. The first was too tight. The second was too loose. The third was perfect — just the right size.
Emma bought a light jacket for spring. She tried it on and looked in the mirror. "It suits you!" I said. She smiled and decided to buy it.
Before we go out, we always get dressed for the weather. I put on my coat, she puts on her jacket, and we are ready. When we come home, we take off our outdoor clothes and relax.
I think clothes are important. They keep us warm in winter and cool in summer. And of course, they help us look good!
What about you? What are your favourite clothes?
