Fun vs Funny
Fun и funny — оба о чём-то приятном, но с разницей.
• Fun (веселье, удовольствие) — положительные впечатления, интересно, хорошо.
• Funny (смешной) — вызывает смех, комичный, забавный.
✅ We had fun at the party. (нам было хорошо / весело)
✅ He told a funny joke. (смешная шутка)
✅ Playing football is fun. (приносит удовольствие)
✖️ He is very fun. → He is a lot of fun.
✖️ The movie was funny. (если фильм смешной — да. Если просто приятный — fun)
